1. Cancel anytime
Every paid plan can be cancelled at any time from Account → Manage billing. Cancellation is immediate for the renewal — you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your card is never charged again.
You don't need to email us, call anyone, or fill out a form. One click and you're done.
2. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once billed, because each cycle gives you immediate access to paid AI generation, which has real per-use costs.
That said, we will issue a refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate or accidental charges — if you were billed twice or charged after cancelling, we'll refund in full.
- Service failure — if a paid feature was unavailable for an extended period and you couldn't generate the book you paid for, we'll refund the affected period.
- Unauthorised charges — if your card was used without your consent, contact us immediately and we'll refund and help you secure your account.
To request a refund, email hello@kdpaibookmaker.com from the email address on your account, with the date of the charge and a brief description. Most requests are answered within one business day.
3. Downgrades and plan switches
You can downgrade or switch plans at any time from Manage billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle so you don't lose access to features you've already paid for.
4. You keep your books
Cancelling your subscription doesn't delete the books, outlines or covers you've already generated. They remain in your account so you can re-download them at any time. You retain full commercial rights to everything you generate (see our Terms of Service).
